The NC State Men’s Basketball team will be playing Penn State in the Inaugural Basketball Hall of Fame Boardwalk Classic in a one-day quadruple header on December 15th in Atlantic City at the Historic Boardwalk Hall.

The one-day quadruple-header will feature Temple University (American Athletic) vs. Davidson College (Atlantic 10); Iona College (MAAC) vs. Princeton University (Ivy League); Penn State (Big Ten) vs. North Carolina State University (ACC); and Virginia Tech (ACC) vs. University of Washington (Pac-12).

“We are excited to play in the Basketball Hall of Fame Boardwalk Classic. Boardwalk Hall is a historic venue with heaps of tradition and Penn State is a strong team that will provide a great test for our team.” – Kevin Keatts, NC State (Link)

The Nittany Lions finished last season with an overall record of 26-13. NC State beat Penn St. in PNC arena last year, 85-78 in Kevin Keatts first season. The win even looked better on paper, when you consider the fact that the Nittany Lions went on to win the NIT.

NC State is 17-3 all-time against Penn St.
