4-Star DE Savion Jackson Commits to NC State
NC state just picked up a GIGANTIC commitment in 4-Star 2019 defensive end Savion Jackson out of Clayton High School.

He is the #1 player in the state of North Carolina according to ESPN. 247Sports ranks him as the #3 strongside Defensive End and the #29 overall player.
Jackson finished last season with 56 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, and 8 sacks for Clayton.
This is one of the highest ranked commitments the Wolfpack have picked up in almost 2 decades. Last year Peyton Wilson was also the #29 overall player according to 247Sports, and he was the highest ranked NC State Commit since Andre Brown in 2005 (#13).
South Carolina tried to make a strong for Jackson over the past month, but NC State prevailed.
For the second year in a row, Dave Doeren and his crew are pulling in a very impressive recruiting class, and at this point, Jackson is its gem.
