NC State hosted two days of their summer camp over the weekend, and as usual for this time of year, things are continually in the works in the Wolfpack Recruiting world. Here are a few relevant updates.

  • 4-star 2019 Cornerback Shyheim Battle (6’2”/173) spent two days on unofficial visits this past week at NC State. Rivals ranks Battle as the #26 cornerback in the class of 2019, and the #9 player in the state of North Carolina. At this point, it looks like it’s between NC State and Clemson.

  • 4-Star 2019 Defensive Tackle CJ Clark (6’3/303) will be announcing his decision tomorrow at 2pm on his Twitter account.

Some think that Clark (North Stanley/New London, NC) is a Georgia lean, but maybe he will decide to stay in-state with the Wolfpack. Rivals ranks him as the #10 defensive tackle in 2019, and the #7 player in North Carolina.

  • 4-star 2019 defensive tackle Joshua Harris (Person/Roxboro, NC) visited NC State for the 4th time in 8 days yesterday. Let’s go ahead and get this over with Joshua. He’s expected to make his decision by the end of the month.

Rivals ranks Harris as the #141 overall player, the #7 defensive tackle, and #4 player in the state of North Carolina in the 2019 recruiting class.
