5-star 2019 Small Forward Wendell Moore told Rivals Corey Evans that he plans on making his college decision in the Fall.

“I want to do something in the fall; that is what I am aiming towards, if possible. If I have everything done by then, I want to do it in the fall so that I can focus on my high school season” (Rivals)

Moore is at the top of NC State’s 2019 recruiting priority list, and has been for some time. NC State originally offered Moore a scholarship before he even stepped foot on the court as a freshman in high school. 247Sports ranks him as the #17 overall player in 2019, and ESPN ranks him as the #1 player in the state of North Carolina.

He broke down each of his Top-5 schools (NC State, Duke, UNC, Wake Forest, South Carolina) for Evans, and here’s what he had to say about NC State.

NC State: “I talk to them very often. Coach (Kevin) Keatts does a great job with his team, especially with what he did last year and how he turned that team around. He has done it really quickly.” (Rivals)

Moore is scheduling his official visits, and NC State will be his first on September 1st, followed by South Carolina on September 8th, Duke September 22nd, and Wake Forest September 28th. He is still working on solidifying his official visit date with UNC.
