Lowe has been an assistant coach with the Washington Wizards for the past two seasons, primarily coaching the guards. People in Washington believe that point guard John Wall had developed a closer relationship with Lowe than any other coach on Washington’s staff.
Previously, Lowe has already served as an assistant coach for the Pistons, as well as the Cavs, Timberwolves and the Jazz.
As a point guard at NC State, Lowe led NC State to a national championship in 1983, earning 1st Team All-ACC honors.
In 5 seasons as the head coach for the Wolfpack, he led NC State to a 86-78 overall record.
