He will be deciding between his Top-3: Florida State, Florida, and NC State. McLendon plays for Tucker High School in Tucker, Georgia. It would be shocking if McClendon didn’t choose the Seminoles today.
McLendon is ranked as the #17 weak side defensive end in the 2019 claaa by Rivals. He picked up an offer from NC State on January 23rd, and took an official visit to Raleigh earlier this month.
4-star Cornerback Shyheim Battle (6’2″/173) will be announcing on December 15th, after the November early signing period.

Two weeks ago, Battle spent two consecutive days at NC State on unofficial visits.
Rivals ranks Battle as the #26 cornerback in the class of 2019, and the #9 player in the state of North Carolina. At this point, it looks like it’s between NC State and Clemson.
4-star defensive tackle Joshua Harris (6’4″/300) has moved his announcement date from June 30th to July 9th.

Rivals ranks Harris as the #141 overall player, the #7 defensive tackle, and #4 player in the state of North Carolina in the 2019 recruiting class.
Back on May 31, Harris revealed his Top-5 of NC State, Georgia, Tennessee, UNC and Ohio State.
Harris has practically lived on NC State’s campus during the month of June. Don’t read anything into Harris pushing back his announcement. He is a lock for NC State.
