4-Star NC State Safety Target Khalid Martin Moves Up Announcement

4-Star 2019 Safety Khalid Martin (6’2”/195) originally was planning on making his college decision in October, but he announced last night via his Twitter account that he doesn’t need to wait any longer, and will announce on July 10th.

ESPN ranks Martin (East Forsyth High School/Kernersville, North Carolina) as the #20 Safety in the 2019 class, and the #12 player in the state of North Carolina.

NC State offered Martin way back on October 2, 2016. Martin included the Wolfpack in his Top-7 back at the end of May, but it looks like NC State’s main competition is Virginia Tech. With that being said, all three of the 247Sports experts that have submitted their Crystal Ball Predictions have Martin picking NC State, including the recruiting analyst for Virginia Tech’s 247Sports site.
