4-Star ATH J.R. Walker Sets Announcement Date

4-star 2019 Athlete JR Walker has a set a date for the announcement of his college decision, and it will either be October 12th or 13th.

247Sports ranks Walker as the #163 overall player in the 2019 class, the #13 Athlete, and the #7 player in the state of North Carolina.

Walker recently transferred from Northeastern High to Clayton High, joining NC State Commit Savion Jackson.

At Northeastern last season, Walker rushed for over 1,019 yards (14.4 yards per carry) and intercepted 7 passes (Free Safety).

NC State offered Walker on December 5, 2016, and he revealed the Wolfpack to be his top team back at the beginning of March of this year. On May 4th, Walker revealed his Top 5 schools: NC State, UNC, Duke, South Carolina, Virginia Tech.
