4-Star RB Zonovan Knight Commits to NC State

NC State’s 2019 football recruiting class just got even stronger with the commitment of 4-star running back Zonovan Knight (6’1″/185).

There is plenty of room for talented running backs in NC State’s offensive scheme. After watching what the Wolfpack did with Nyheim Hines and Jaylen Samuels on the field at the same time, running with the Wolfpack has to be extremely appealing to talented players such as Knight.

Knight committed to Duke on March 3rd, and recently decommitted on May 20th. NC State offered him a scholarship back on January 16th.

He rushed for 1,877 yards (13.2 yards per carry) and 27 touchdowns for Southern Nash (Bailey, North Carolina) last season. He also averaged 34.3 yards per kickoff return.

Rivals ranks Knight as the #181 overall player, the #9 running back, and the #8 player in the state of North Carolina in 2019.

Knight was on campus at NC State at least 3 times during the month of June.

NC State now has 17 players in their #Pack19 class, and Knight is the 3rd 4-star recruit to commit. Expect 4-star defensive tackle to become the 4th 4-star commit for the Wolfpack in 2019 at 6pm.
