NC State’s Garrett Bradbury on the Rimington Award Watch List
NC State’s Garrett Bradbury is on the watch list for the 2018 Rimington Award, which is annually handed out to the best Center in college football. Bradbury earned 1st Team All-ACC honors from the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA) in 2017, and was an Honorable Mention for the official league team.
Bradbury played 98% of NC State’s Offensive snaps last year, and has been the starter at Center for two seasons now. ProFootballFocus gave Bradbury a grade of 80.1 for the season last year, and he was the ACC Lineman of the Week after his performance against UNC.
When Bradbury arrived in 2014, he was a Tight End out of Charlotte, North Carolina. He was a 2-Star recruit according to 247Sports. Back then he was 6’3” and weighed 240 pounds. Now he’s the same height, but he weighs 300 pounds. Bradbury moved to Offensive Line during his Redshirt Freshman season.
