NC State Basketball Recruiting Update – July 23, 2018
Last week, NC State’s Men’s Basketball coaches were out in full force, and it is clear they have honed in on their top priorities in the 2019 class.
Yesterday, they watched 5-star small forward Wendell Moore and 4-star small forward Patrick Williams at the Phenom Hoops Report CP3 Live.

Patrick Williams just gets so much done, and plays so hard. Lot of versatility. The 4-star SF has Kevin Keatts, Buzz Williams and Avery Johnson watching along with a number of high-major assistants.

Williams plays for West Charlotte High School (Charlotte, NC), and is ranked by ESPN as the #50 overall player in the 2019 recruiting class.
Moore is at the top of NC State’s 2019 recruiting priority list, and has been for some time. NC State originally offered Moore a scholarship before he even stepped foot on the court as a freshman in high school. 247Sports ranks him as the #17 overall player in 2019, and ESPN ranks him as the #1 player in the state of North Carolina. NC State is in his Top 5, and he is looking to make his decision in the Fall.
They have also jumped on the bandwagon for 4-star power forward CJ Walker, offering him on July 13th, and scouting him intensely again last week. (Walker plays for E1T1)
All these coaches plus Buzz Williams, Kevin Keatts, Mike and Leonard Hamilton moved over one court to see E1T1 vs PSA. No Cole Anthony in this one for PSA. https://t.co/mYka5Njs7c

Rivals ranks Walker as the #43 overall player in the 2019 class, and ESPN ranks him as the #10 power forward.
It’s worth noting that all three of these prospects are from the state of North Carolina.
