NC State’s AJ Cole on the Ray Guy Award Watch List

The Watch List for the 2018 Ray Guy Award was released today, and NC State’s AJ Cole was one of the 27 collegiate punters that made the cut. The Ray Guy Award has been awarded to the best punter in college football since 2000.

Cole’s career punting average of 42.2 yards ranks 3rd all-time at NC State heading into his final season. His 171 career punts and 7,212 career punting yards rank 5th all-time. Last season he ranked 25th in the FBS, averaging 43.7 yards per punt.
