Clippers Expected to Waive CJ Williams
According to Brad Turner, the Los Angeles Clippers are expected to waive former NC State guard CJ Williams.
Sources: Clippers are expecting to waive forward CJ Williams soon. He joined the Clippers on 2-way contract last season. He played in 38 games, 18 starts. He should be able to find NBA job. Clippers roster will be at 17 after this move, but just 16 contracts are guaranteed

After an extremely successful year as a 2-way player for Los Angeles, the Clippers signed Williams to a 3-year contract on April 9th. Last season, Williams played in 38 games last season for LA, averaging 5.5 points in 18.6 minutes per game. He played 16 games for the Clippers G-League affiliate, Agua Caliente, and averaged 16.5 points per contest.
Unfortunately, the contract he signed was non-guaranteed.
After Williams showed he could hang with the big boys last season, I fully expect him to find a new NBA home.
