Tight End Cary Angeline Talks After Day 3 of NC State’s 2018 Fall Camp: BULLETED

Yesterday was Day 3 of NC State’s 2018 Fall Camp, and Redshirt Sophomore Tight End Cary Angeline talked afterwards. Here’s what he had to say in BULLETED form.

  • Trying to get the playbook down. Execute better.
  • Hot out here. The west coast is hot, but it’s more humid here.
  • Putting on pads is part of the game. We have to stay hydrated. Today was a tough practice. Practice has to be hard so the games can be easier.
  • First day of pads (just shoulder pads yesterday) is always exciting.
  • He’s a receiving threat at tight end. Been working on his blocking a lot, and has improved on that as well.
  • Watches Kansas City Chief Tight End Travis Kelce a lot to model his game after him.
  • Having played a few years of college football will help.
  • Hoped he wouldn’t miss three games. After leaving after three games last year, he was mentally prepared to sit out three games this year. He hoped for the best, that he would be granted immediate eligibility, but it is what it is. Nothing we can do about it now.
  • Mindset is to be prepared for game 1 as if he was going to play in it.
  • Tight End room has a great bond. All look out for each other.
