Bradley Chubb Named Starting LB in 1st Broncos Depth Chart
Former NC State defensive end Bradley Chubb, the #5 overall draft pick of the 2018 NFL Draft, was named the starting SAM linebacker in the Broncos first Depth Chart heading into their opening preseason game on Saturday against the Vikings.
What’s impressive about this, is that Chubb has instantly earned the starting job over former starter Shane Ray.
Rookie Bradley Chubb has earned a starting job at SAM linebacker. Fourth-year player Shane Ray will back up Von Miller at the WILL linebacker position. Shaquil Barrett is listed as the backup SAM. (Link)
Heard from player Broncos first depth chart has Bradley Chubb listed ahead of Shane Ray at one OLB spot. Plan is for Ray to flourish as pure pass rusher in sub downs. As expected, Devontae Booker is No 1 RB. Official depth chart to be released later this morning. #9sports

If you want a preview of what Chubb and Von Miller will look like rushing the passer this season…
There was a play today where both Bradley Chubb and Von Miller exploded off the edge and ended up running into each other in an effort to not kill Case Keenum.
In a game, the QB would have been lucky to come out of it in one piece…
