NC State’s NFL 2018 Week 1 Preseason Report: 8/11/18

On Thursday night, 19 former NC State football players on NFL rosters kicked off week 1 of the 2018 NFL Preseason. Last night, 6 more NC State players were represented.

Vikings 42 Broncos 28

Former NC State cornerback Jack Tocho had a rough night and a good night. On the rough side of things, he gave up two touchdowns. On the good side of things, he finished the night with 4 tackles, 3 pass deflections and 1 interception.

Former Wolfpack defensive end Bradley Chubb recorded 1 tackle in his NFL debut. He started at linebacker for the Broncos.

Cardinals 24 Chargers 17

Former NC State quarterback Philip Rivers didn’t play for the Chargers last night. There is no sign of injury.

Former Wolfpack defensive tackle Justin Jones didn’t play last night, injuring his ankle this week in practice. He was seen wearing a boot. Jones has looked incredible in camp so far.

Former NC State quarterback Mike Glennon had a rough night, completing only 2 of his 7 pass attempts for 11 yards and an interception for the Cardinals.

Former Wolfpack linebacker Airius Moore didn’t make his NFL debut for the Cardinals last night due to injury.
