Yahoo!: Top 20 College Asst Coaches Poised to Move Up: NC State’s Drinkwitz #18

Yahoo! ranked the Top-20 assistant coaches in college football that are poised to move up the ladder, and NC State’s offensive coordinator Eliah Drinkwitz ranked #18 on the list.

18. Eliah Drinkwitz, North Carolina State OC – Got some Sun Belt looks last year, but his most realistic outlook is moving up within the Group of Five. Look for him to be this year’s version of Mike Elko (from Wake Forest in ’16) and Alex Grinch (from Washington State last year), as a coach likely to land at a Power Five school with a more powerful logo. Drinkwitz has been the offensive coordinator at NC State for the past two seasons, as well as the quarterbacks coach. Previously, he was the offensive coordinator at Boise State. Quarterback Ryan Finley followed Drinkwitz here from Boise State.
