NC State Lands 3 on ESPN’s 2018 Preseason All-ACC Team

ESPN has revealed their 2018 Preseason All-ACC Team with the college football season right around the corner, and NC State landed three players on the team. It’s not shocking to see Graduate quarterback Ryan Finley and Junior wide receiver Kelvin Harmon on this team. It’s not the first preseason All-ACC honor. What is a little shocking, but well-deserved, is seeing Redshirt Senior Offensive Tackle Tyler Jones on the team.

Jones doesn’t get the credit he deserves. Partially that is because he was in the shadow of Will Richardson and Tony Adams the past couple of years, who are both members of the Jacksonville Jaguars now.

He deserves to be on this list. His allowed 14 total pressures last season, which is tied for the fewest among returning ACC Offensive Tackles.
