NC State Makes Top-7 of 5-star PG Jalen Lecque
5-star 2019 point guard Jalen Lecque (6’4″/190) revealed his Top-7 schools tonight, and NC State made the cut along with Tennessee, Texas Tech, Louisville, Oregon, TCU and UCLA.
I would like to thank all the schools that have recruited me through my basketball career. It was a hard decision on narrowing down my list in colleges to choose from, but these are the schools I have chosen for my top 7❗️❗️ @TiptonEdits pic.twitter.com/uW0QKoJ5Rj

ESPN ranks Lecque as the #11 overall player in the 2019 recruiting class, and the #2 point guard. Lecque was playing for Christ School in Arden, North Carolina, but he recently transferred to Brewster Academy up in New Hampshire for his Senior season.
Former NC State ACC Player of the Year TJ Warren Alain played his Senior season at Brewster.
NC State offered Lecque on September 14th of last year. Wolfpack head coach Kevin Keatts has been recruiting Lecque as hard as anyone in the country, and don’t expect his move up north to change any of that.
Lecque looks a heck of a lot like Russell Westbrook when you watch him play.
