Video: Kelvin Harmon Talks about the young WRs and which NFL wideouts he patterns after

NC State’s star WR, Kelvin Harmon talked with the media after practice yesterday. Here is the full video, or scroll down to see the bulleted highlights.

• All the WRs are important. CJ (Riley) made a huge catch. Ran post-route and can stretch field. He’s a 4.4 guy.
• Everyone bring pieces to the table. Emeka (Emezie) is very agile. Gets on DBs toes. Quick. Pushes the starters.
• Vets have confidence in young guys. They can come in and give starters a blow and not hurt the offense.
• Veteran WRs go at the young guys. Friendly competition. Pushing each other and critique each other.
• WRs don’t take critique from each other personally. Everyone is trying to make everyone better.
• Was motivated early on by outsiders thinking NC State’s window to win was last year. But used to it now. Working hard together. Got a lot to prove.
• WRs push each other in a lot of ways. Have competitions to see who can make the DBs look bad, or who can make the better catch.
• Healthy amount of junk talking keeps each other going.
• Youn guys looking up to him and Steph. See what it takes to go out there and dominate.
• Always liked watching guys like Randy Moss, TO and Calvin Johnson. Currently likes watching Micheal Thomas (Saints).
• Media talk doesn’t get to him. Sets his own goals to reach.
