Halftime Update: NC State leads JMU 17-7
NC State got off to a slow start but started clicking in the 2nd quarter thanks to a 40yd punt return by redshirt freshman Thayer Thomas, who then scored on a short pass from Finley.
Did you know: Thayer Thomas did not have a scholarship 5 months ago. Today he scores the first TD of NC State’s season (after a 40yd punt return)!https://t.co/Cr679vTLYf
