NC State’s depth chart for this weekends home matchup against Georgia State has been released.

NOTES

(Doeren wasn’t able to give full clarity on the health of some of the injured players from Saturday until tomorrow, because today is a healing day. He did say most of the injuries were heat related. Players were cramping, and needed IV’s.)

  • Redshirt Senior Defensive Tackle Eurndraus Bryant is still listed as the starter after jamming his neck on Saturday, that led to him being carted off the field. Doeren said in his press conference today that he is doing really well, and that he has been fully cleared, and will practice tomorrow.
  • Freshman Tanner Ingle is listed as the starter at Nickel Back against Georgia State, taking the place of Redshirt Junior Freddie Phillips Jr, who is now listed at 3rd string. Redshirt Junior Stephen Griffin has moved up to 2nd string. Doeren thought that Ingle played really well. Did mention that he gave up a touchdown, and that was a good experience for him.
  • While there is still an “OR” between there names, Sophomore Cornerback Chris Ingram has usurped Junior Kishawn Miller, and will start against Georgia State. I think Ingram would have started Week 1 if he had been more healthy in Fall Camp.
  • Redshirt Junior Defensive End James Smith-Williams had to leave the game in the first half, and went to the locker room, but he was able to return. I’m guessing his injury was heat related.
