#4 NC State Defeats William & Mary 2-1 in 2OT
The #4 NC State Men’s Soccer team beat William & Mary in double overtime last night on their home pitch to remain undefeated in 2018 (4-0).
The Griffin’s got off to an early lead, scoring the first goal of the night 6 minutes into the game. The Wolfpack had their opportunities to even the score before the half, but William & Mary held them off.
One minute after the second half began, Sophomore Manny Perez evened things up, off an assist from Junior Gabriel Machado. Perez led NC State last night with 3 shots.
Neither school was able to put the other away in regulation, or the first overtime period, but NC State Senior Christoph Schneuwly scored in the 103rd minute to improve the Wolfpack’s record to 4-0 (Assist: Manny Perez & Sophomore David Loera).

NC State outshot William and Mary 14 to 9, and had 6 shots on goal compared to their 5.
