VIDEO: NC State OL Coach Dwayne Ledford Talks JMU

NC State OL coach, Dwayne Ledford, met with the media after practice to talk about his line’s performance vs. JMU and what we can expect from them this week vs. Georgia State. Above is the full video and below is the bulleted highlights.

• Fun to see the growth. Fun to see the older guys helping the younger guys. Fun to see young guys out there for the first time and guys creating chemistry.
• Prescott graded out the highest of the group. He was around the football and did a lot of things. Motivated and really competing right now.
• OL gets fired up when they don’t get runs of 2 yards or more. They take it personal  Any good group takes it personally. They see where they can improve (esp. for the young ones) and its valuable lessons they can learn. Good to see them working on things this week.
• Thought the line played fast and hard. At the end of the day, everyone had a few blocks they’d like to have back. For the first game, they played well as a group.
