NC State Opens as a 2-Point Favorite Over West Virginia

Hey, I’m not complaining, but I’m a little shocked.

NC State will host #14 West Virginia next Saturday at 3:30pm, and they open as a 2-point favorites.

The Wolfpack were 14-point favorites over James Madison in the season opener, and they only won by 11 (24-13). NC State was a 24.5-point favorite over Georgia State, and they more than covered that spread (41-7).

The Mountaineers was a 10-point favorite over Tennessee in their season opener, and they won by 26 points. On Saturday, West Virginia was a 30.5-point favorite over Youngstown State, and they won by 35.

A win over West Virginia would be the makings of a special year, and would be Ryan Finley’s 1st signature win.
