#16 NC State Women’s Soccer Falls to Wake Forest in ACC Opener
The #16 NC State Women’s Soccer team opened ACC play Thursday night at home versus Wake Forest, but they fell to the Demon Deacons 0-2.
It was a lopsided contest, with Wake Forest putting 10 shots on goal compared to NC State’s 2, with neither of those coming in the second half. Senior Goal Keeper Sydney Wooten did have 8 saves, but two shots obviously managed to get past her.
