NBC Ranks NC State Men’s Basketball 24th in 2018-19 Preseason Poll

NBCSports has released their 2018-19 Men’s Basketball Preseason Top-25, and they have NC State sitting at #24. Here’s what they had to say about the Wolfpack.

24. N.C. STATE WOLFPACK

• Who’s gone: Omer Yurtseven, Al Freeman, Abdul-Malik Abu, Lennard Freeman, Sam Hunt
• Who do they add: C.J. Bryce, Devon Daniels, Blake Harris, Saddiq Bey, Jericole Hellems, Derek Funderburk, Ian Steere, Immanuel Bates
• Projected starting lineup: Braxton Beverly, Markell Johnson, Torin Dorn, C.J. Bryce, Derek Funderburk

Kevin Keatts is going to miss Yurtseven, because he doesn’t have any size on his roster anymore. He does, however, have half-a-million guards on his roster, and all of them can play. That’s enough for me to bet on Keatts getting it done. (NBC)

(NBCSports obviously needs to update their data. They still have Saddiq Bey with NC State, when he decommitted and flipped to Villanova. There is also no mention of the addition of Wyatt Walker or Eric Lockett).

NC State is playing Auburn in a non-conference game, and they are ranked 10th.

NBCSports unveiled their way-too-early preseason poll right after the season ended in May, and slotted the Wolfpack at #22.
