VIDEO: Emeka Emezie Talks After NC State Defeats UVA

Redshirt Sophomore Wide Receiver Emeka Emezie had 5 receptions for 90 yards and a touchdown in NC State’s 35-21 victory over Virginia this afternoon. The 90 yards receiving was a career high. • Very happy Ryan Finley is starting to gain trust in him. This is a very big thing. I’ve worked my butt off. He’s gaining confidence in me. It’s awesome.
• Very good start to ACC play. Everyone wants to start undefeated. They gave us a good game, but we came out on top.
• We rotate a lot of people, and all of them make plays for us.
• Reason we are able to get so open is because of Ryan. Also, because of Offensive Coordinator Drinkwitz telling us where to go. Coach McDonald putting in the right personnel all week in practice. They study and work very hard. They give us those opportunities to make those plays.
