NC State 2019 running back commit Jamious Griffin had a record breaking night this past Friday night, rushing for 339 yards on 24 carries!

Griffin also added two more touchdowns to his already impressive 2018 haul.

“This season is going really well,” he said. “We thought some of these games would be tough, but we’re playing together as a team, so it’s making it a little easier right now.” (Link)

After this weekend, Griffin has claimed the following Rome High School records:
Career Rushing Yards
Career Touchdowns
Career Rushing Touchdowns
Single Season Rushing Yards (3 games remaining)
Single Season Touchdowns (31)
Rushing Yards in a Single Game (339)
Touchdowns in a Game (5)
Career Points

Rome High School has now won 35 straight football games, and is looking to win their 3rd straight Georgia State Championship.

Griffin is one of ten players on MaxPreps National Player of the Year Watch List.

Through 7 games, Griffin has 1,497 yards rushing (11.3 yards per carry) and 22 touchdowns (20 rushing & 2 receiving), and he has 3 more regular season games remaining to add to these already gaudy numbers.

At this point, Griffin’s 3-star rating is laughable.
