Junior Kelvin Harmon was the highest graded wide receiver in the ACC in week 6, but the dent he made in the NC State record books is even more impressive.

After snagging 9 receptions for 128 yards and a touchdown, Harmon has 129 receptions and 2,013 receiving yards in his career. He entered the game ranked 12th in career receptions, but ended the day in sole possession of 8th place, jumping ahead of Chris Coleman, Tramain Hall, George Bryan and Owen Spencer in the process. Harmon also entered the game ranked 11th in career receiving yards, but when the final second ticked off the clock, he was sitting in 6th place, passing Bryan Peterson, Chris Coleman, Koren Robinson, TJ Williams and Mike Quick.

Harmon joins an elite club of NC State wide receivers who finished their career with over 2,000 receiving yards.

2,000 Yard Club

1) Torry Holt – 3,379
2) Jerricho Cotchery – 3,119
3) Owen Spencer – 2,441
4) Eddie Goines – 2,351
5) Nasrallah Worthen – 2,247
6) Kelvin Harmon – 2,013

All 5 of the above receivers played 4 seasons at NC State, but Harmon will more than likely only play 3. He’s already being projected as 1 of the Top-20 prospects for the 2019 NFL Draft.

If Harmon were to return for his Senior season (which he almost certainly will not), he would finish his career as NC State’s all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards. Harmon is a Wolfpack legend.
