WATCH: NC State assistant Takayo Siddle was Mic’d Up during practice on Monday

NC State basketball’s Twitter looks to be doing a series called “Mic’d Up Mondays’ where they will be putting a mic on a coach or player so we can listen in on a practice.

This week they mic’d up assistant Takayo Siddle.

Siddle was hired this past May by Kevin Keatts. The two have a history dating back to when Siddle played for Keatts at Hargrave. He then coached as an assistant under Keatts at both Hargrave and UNC-W.

It’s amazing the amount of behind the scenes access Wolfpack fans are getting these days. You young fans have it made.

Back in the day to get any sort of access you’d have to hope to catch an interview clip on the local news to get some behind the scenes info. Then when the internet came along you could get some second-hand rumors info from message boards and team sites.

Shoot, we at PackInsider.com got into the game because we wanted to ask more in-depth questions and bring full video interviews to the fans. Now NC State is just offering up a full-on weekly behind the scenes docuseries and they’re putting mic’s on their coaches during practice.
