NC State’s Depth Chart vs. Clemson (with notes)

NC State released their depth chart for their game against Clemson this Saturday at 3:30pm.

Notes

• Freshman running back Trent Pennix was the 3rd string running back on the Wolfpack’s Depth Chart for Boston College, but didn’t end up dressing. He has been battling an injury. On this weeks depth chart, Redshirt Graduate Senior Brady Bodine is the 3rd string back, and Pennix was been left off completely. Pennix has only played in 3 games this season, and could play in one more and still Redshirt this season. I’m not saying they will do that, but with the emergence of Bodine as an effective addition to the rush attack, this could be an option on the table.
• Freshman Cornerback Teshaun Smith has replaced Junior Kishawn Miller as the backup Left Cornerback behind Sophomore Chris Ingram. Smith has seen action in 3 games on special teams, but has yet to take a snap at Cornerback. Miller started the season as the starter at Left Corner, but lost his job to Ingram in Week 2. He has played 43 snaps at Cornerback in 3 games, and played strictly on special teams in the other two games.
