Devon Daniels talks about leading the team in scoring and team defense after win over Chowan (BULLETED)

Devon Daniels scored 22 points in his NC State debut and went 8-16 from the floor (and 3-6 from the 3). He met with the media after the game to discuss. Above is the full video and below are the bulleted highlights.

• Need to work on talking on switches and not get back-doored as much.
• The game is easier than practice. Keatts is really tough in practice and there are no suicides in practice. Game is definitely easier.
• Coach talks about charges, steals, deflections. Without a true rim protector, he is preaching about charges in practice.
• The team is really deep and coach wants guys to play as hard as they can and team did that pretty well tonight.
• Always been able to score and don’t need to really try to force it (which is why his 22 points seemed so effortless). Just really try to get teammates involved and play good defense.
