Bradley Chubb Named NFL Rookie of the Month

Former NC State Defensive End Bradley Chubb really got the hang of the Linebacker position in October, earning NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month honors.

Chubb had 5.5 sacks in a three game span, making him the first rookie to have a 3-game sack streak since Aldon Smith did it in 2011.  He became the 1st Broncos rookie to record multiple sacks in consecutive games since Elvis Dumervil did it in 2009.

Only Aaron Donald and Dee Ford had more sacks than Chubb in October.

If Chubb can keep up his October pace, instead of his September pace, he could possibly break the NFL record for sacks in a rookie season. Jevon Kearse set the record with 14.5 sacks in 1999. Chubb currently has 7 sacks, and is on pace for 14.
