Jackson is the highest rated player in the Wolfpack’s 2019 football recruiting class. He is a consensus 4-star prospect, and ESPN ranks him as the #34 overall player in 2019, the #5 defensive end and the #1 player in the state of North Carolina.
He has led the Clayton Comets to a 7-2 record so far in 2018, and has recorded 58 tackles and 5.5 sacks.
NC State didn’t have a football commit in the 2018 Under Armour All-American game, but did have 3 players play in the Army All-American Game: Alim McNeil, Ricky Person and Payton Wilson.
