VIDEO: Ricky Person Talks After NC State’s 47-28 Victory Over Florida State

Freshman Running Back Ricky Person didn’t have any explosive plays (2.5 yards per carry) in NC State’s 47-28 victory over Florida State yesterday, but he did have a career high 3 touchdowns (2 rushing & 1 receiving). It’s the most touchdowns by a freshman since Matt Dayes dropped 3 in his college debut (2013).

• If we didn’t have the best training staff in the country, I wouldn’t have been out there today.
• Me and Reggie (Gallaspy) are always competing against each other. We push each other each and every day. It just so happened that today was the other way around.
• The offensive line handled Florida State’s blitz well.
• We always play with chip on our shoulder. All season we’ve been hearing that NC State can’t run the ball, and we’ve had to prove people wrong.
