NC State Moves Up To #14 in Week 2 of the 2018 CFP Rankings

The College Football Playoff Rankings selection committee was impressed with NC State’s 47-28 beat down of Florida State this past Saturday, moving them up 7 spots to #14 in their 2018 Week 2 Rankings.

Both of NC State’s losses this year were against teams ranked in the Top-15: #2 Clemson and #13 Syracuse. The Wolfpack’s victory over #17 Boston College is their best victory of the season thus far.

Last year NC State broke into the CFP Top-25 for the first time since the rankings began in 2014, and were ranked as high as 19th, finishing the year ranked 24th.

Tonight’s rankings mark the highest the Wolfpack have ever been ranked in the CFP Top-25.
