VIDEO: Torin Dorn Talks After NC State’s 105-55 Victory Over Mount St. Mary’s

NC State’s Torin Dorn had a career night, scoring 28 points (10-18 FG & 4-7 3PT) in the Wolfpack’s 105-55 season opening victory over Mount St. Mary’s tonight. He also had 9 rebounds. Dorn spoke with the media after the contest, and the video is ABOVE and a bulleted breakdown is BELOW.

• In the 2nd half we picked up our energy and intensity, and played together.
• It was our first game playing together as a unit, so we wanted to build our cohesiveness, learn each other, and play hard.
• We have a lot of guys that this was their first time playing college basketball, or they have sat out a year. They were excited to get out there, and we just had to get those jitters out, and I think we were able to do that in the second half.
• At halftime, Coach Keatts said it was 0-0, and needed to get the first half out of our head. Play the second half as if it’s a new game.
• It’s super fun playing that style of offense. Uptempo. Dunks. 3’s.
• We’re a deep team this year. Have a lot of guys that are interchangeable. If you go out there and play your heart out, you can come out and get a rest, and go back in.
• We want to take that second half and run with it into the next game.
