VIDEO: NC State’s Dexter Wright Talks After Wake Forest Loss

NC State safety Dexter Wright had 7 tackles and 1 tackle for loss in the Wolfpack’s 23-27 loss to Wake Forest last night. He spoke with the media after the loss, and the video is ABOVE, and a bulleted breakdown of what he had to say is BELOW.

• I wasn’t in on the last play. Tim (Kidd-Glass) was in. They ran the play and somebody was open. I’m not really sure what the defensive call was, or if it was a bust, but it turned into a touchdown.
• I don’t think there were any distractions. We knew where we were ranked, but I don’t think it was a distraction. If anything, it motivated us to continue to rise in the rankings, not distract us.
• We have to come back to the drawing board, and go back to work. We can’t continue to dwell on this tough loss.
• Obviously, on the last drive, I thought our defense was going to stop them. There was no doubt on the sideline.
