VIDEO: Braxton Beverly Talks After NC State’s 100-49 Victory Over UNCA

Sophomore Braxton Beverly had 9 points and 5 assists in NC State’s 100-49 victory over UNC-Asheville tonight. He spoke with the media tonight after the game. The video is ABOVE, and a bulleted breakdown is BELOW.

• It’s great to hear that Coach Keatts thinks this is the hardest we’ve played in two years. Especially because playing hard is what this program is built on, especially on the defensive end. For him to say that, after the year we had last year, and how hard we played the first two games, shows a huge step forward.
• If we keep that energy up, we’ll go as far as we want.
• We play as hard as we can. We’ve got enough subs that can play and make an impact. Coach preaches to play as hard as you can and then throw your hand up.
• Games like this are important for us to learn who we are. Find what works. Especially for the freshman, and transfers that have never played in a gym like this, PNC can be overwhelming. Especially when we get to ACC play.
