NC State Commit Senior Reel: 4-Star Cornerback Shyheim Battle

2019 4-Star NC State Cornerback commit Shyheim Battle’s (Rocky Mount High School) season came to an end sooner than he would have liked, breaking his wrist against Hunt. He went on to play against Fike and Southern Nash with the injury, but had surgery on it on November 5th, and his recovery time is expected to be three months.

Through 7 games, Battle had 34 tackles, 1 interception and 2 tackles for loss.

At the end of the day, Battle chose NC State over Clemson on July 25th. When you beat out the Tigers for a player, you can bet you’re getting a good one.

Rivals ranks Battle as the #228 overall player in the 2019 recruiting class, the #22 cornerback, and the #10 player in the state of North Carolina.
