Senior Torin Dorn led the Wolfpack in scoring (19), rebounds (9) and steals (3) in NC State’s 78-74 victory over Mercer last night. He spoke with the media afterwards, and the video is ABOVE, and a bulleted breakdown is BELOW.

• We’re always excited to win games. It’s hard to win games in college basketball, so anytime you can get a win, it’s definitely good for your team. Wish we could have done it a little different, but a win is a win.
• We got a little stale with our energy in the second half. Some people need to keep up moving forward. I think that’s why they were able to come back and get in the game.
• Not every game is going to be a blowout. We’re going to play a lot of games close this season. We’ve got to get ready for that…to play games close…and win those too.
• You come to college to play games of that caliber (upcoming games against Wisconsin and Vanderbilt). We are excited for the challenge.
• We’ve got to play every game like it’s a championship game. Have that type of intensity.
