Freshman Place Kicker Chris Dunn said he wanted fans to be wearing his jersey in the stands.

I can’t say that I’ve ever seen someone wearing a kickers jersey in Carter-Finley stadium.

In fact, Dunn said that he wanted to see his jersey honored one day.

Lofty goals for a place kicker, but Dunn showed that he plans on doing everything he can to back up his words today.

Dunn connected on all three of his field goal attempts against East Carolina this afternoon (23, 26 & 28), giving him 21 on the year, breaking the school record for field goals made in a single season.

Dunn also broke the school record for points scored by a Wolfpack player in a single season.

1. Chris Dunn, 2018 – 113
2. T.A. McLendon, 2002 – 108
3. Stan Fritts, 1972 – 106
4. Josh Czajkowski, 2010 – 102
5. Torry Holt, 1997 – 98

Don’t forget there is one game left.
