Reggie Gallaspy Becomes the 3rd Straight NC State Running Back to Rush for 1,000 Yards

Senior Running Back Reggie Gallaspy rushed 24 times for a career high 220 yards against East Carolina today, pushing him over 1,000 rushing yards for the season, becoming the 3rd straight NC State running back to do so.

He is only the 10th running back in school history to cross the 1,000 yard mark in a single season.

Reggie Gallaspy – 1,014 (2018)

For only the 2nd time in school history, NC State has had a running back rush for over 1,000 yards in three straight seasons. Ted Brown did it three straight seasons in the 70’s, and Matt Dayes, Nyheim Hines and Reggie Gallaspy have done it over the past three years.
