Jaylen Samuels Scored 2nd NFL Touchdown Against Chargers Sunday Night

Former NC State H-Back Jaylen Samuels was clutch on Sunday night for the Steelers, scoring his 2nd career NFL touchdown to even things up with roughly 4 minutes to play in the game.

Starting Pittsburgh Running Back James Conner left the game with a lower leg contusion, and Samuels stepped in and took care of business.

Samuels finished the night with 2 carries for 5 yards and 3 receptions for 20 yards and a touchdown.

Jay Sam has always had a knack for the end zone, finishing his career at NC State ranked 2nd all-time in school history with 47 touchdowns.

Le’Veon Bell refused to sign his franchise tag, and Conner, who ranks 5th in the NFL in rushing yards (909), could miss Pittsburgh’s game against Oakland this Sunday.

Expect Samuels and Stevan Ridley to get more touches until Conner is back, or at full strength.
