NC State’s Germaine Pratt Won’t Play in Gator Bowl

On Monday new broke that Junior 1st Team All-ACC Wide Receiver Kelvin Harmon will forgoe his Senior season, enter the NFL Draft, and not play in the Gator Bowl.

Last night Senior 1st Team All-ACC Linebacker Germaine Pratt posted a picture on his Instagram account with sports agent Erik Burkhardt, with a sheet of paper on the table, and a pen in his hand.

Burkhardt is also the agent for former All-American NC State Defensive End Bradley Chubb.

Obviously, if Pratt in fact signed his name on that sheet of paper, assuming it’s sealing the deal for Burkhardt to be his agent, he isn’t eligible to play in the Gator Bowl.

James Henderson of InsidePackSports received confirmation from a school official that Pratt will not be playing in the Gator Bowl for the Wolfpack.

Pratt finished the season with 104 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and 6 sacks. He is the 1st Wolfpack linebacker to earn 1st Team All-ACC honors since Nate Irving in 2010.

This has got to stop at some point. Let’s don’t throw the team that helped make you under the bus.

This team wouldn’t be here without him and i’m sure his teammates fully support his decision. The opinion of fans don’t matter in decisions like this.
