Rivals ranks Downs as the #248 overall player in the 2020 recruiting class.
Downs’ father is Gary Downs, who played running back at NC State, and was drafted by the New York Giants in the third round of the 1994 NFL Draft.
As a Junior at North Gwinnett (Suwanee, Georgia), he had 37 receptions for 624 yards and 9 touchdowns.
Downs has alluded to joining 4-Star Wide Receiver Porter Rooks at NC State as a package deal. He reaffirmed that notion when Rooks committed to NC State the other day.
My brother, we talked about this.. y’all want this duo?😎 https://t.co/LGNae0Gl8o
