4-Star DE Savion Jackson Signs his Letter of Intent to NC State

4-Star 2019 Defensive End Savion Jackson has officially signed his letter of intent to play football at NC State.

Jackson committed to NC State on June 13th this summer, after receiving an offer from the Wolfpack on March 3, 2017.

The week before committing to NC State, Jackson took unofficial visits to NC State, South Carolina and UNC, and chose the Wolfpack over the Gamecocks in the end.

ESPN ranks Jackson as the #34 overall player in the 2019 recruiting class, the #1 player in the state of North Carolina, and the #5 Defensive End in the nation. He is the highest rated player in the NC State 2019 recruiting class.

Jackson had 60 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 9 games for Clayton High School this year, and picked up Under Armour All-American honors.
