NC State Women’s Basketball Moves up to #9 in the Polls, Highest Since 2000

After sitting at #10 the past three weeks in both polls, the NC State Women’s Basketball team has moved up to #9 in each poll.

The #9 ranking marks the highest NC State has been ranked since February 14, 2000, when the Wolfpack sat at #7 in the polls.

One of only 9 undefeated teams remaining (12-0), NC State is off to their best start since 1999-2000 (2nd best start in school history), when the Wolfpack started 14-0.

Sunday’s game (December 30) against Davidson (2pm) will close out NC State’s non-conference slate for the year.
