Former NC State Defensive Tackle BJ Hill thrived as a rookie this season in his role as a starting defensive end in the Giants 3-4 scheme, ranking 2nd on the team in sacks (Olivier Vernon led the team with 7).

His 5.5 sacks are the most EVER by a Giants rookie, since sacks became an official category in 1982.
